Nicholas E. Whitt
Nicholas E. Whitt is co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of O'Brien Whitt Publishing, Executive Editor of the Kentucky Appellate Survey, and a Trust Officer at Old National Wealth Management. His previous work experience includes serving as a Trust & Compliance Officer at Field & Main Bank, Senior Compliance Analyst at Hilliard Lyons, and as a law clerk for Tilford Dobbins Alexander, PLLC.
As a Trust Officer, Nick is responsible for trust and estate administration. During his third year of law school, Nick served as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, where he assisted first and second-year University of Louisville Entrepreneurship MBA students with various legal aspects of their businesses. Throughout law school, Nick was active in a number of student organizations including membership on the Moot Court Board and the University of Louisville Law Review, Volume 51. He subsequently served as the Senior Notes Editor for Volume 52 from May 2013 to May 2014. From November 2012 to May 2013, Nick served as the Chief Research Officer for Safe Horizons, LLC, and competed, with three of his peers, in various business plan competitions while placing 3rd in the Idea State U Business Plan Competition and finishing Runner-Up at the Walmart Better Living Business Plan Challenge.
Nick is an active member in his community through his involvement in the Rotary Club of Henderson, KY, the Henderson County Family YMCA, Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, KY, and the United Way of Henderson. Previously, Nick served as President of the Solinger Condo Association, as a writing skills mentor for the Central High School Partnership, and as a mentor with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.
Nick is a native of Henderson, Kentucky where he currently resides. He received his Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, in Communications from the University of Kentucky, where he served as a University of Kentucky Peer Instructor and as a committee member for the Student Government Elections Board of Supervision, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.
Nick is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, wakesurfing, snowboarding, and spending time with his family and friends.
